The company's objective is to bring a wide variety of choices to the Chicago area as well as to the northern Illinois homebuyer. Reserve One works with its customers to implement their ideas. With Reserve One's many customizing options, homebuyers can nearly design their own home.

Based in northwest suburban Cary, Reserve One Homes was founded in 1995 by Tom Loftus and Lisa Porter Loftus, two dynamic individuals whose combined homebuilding experience exceeds 60 years. Each has unique industry knowledge, yet they also combine talents to deliver excellent quality and value to new homes and communities.

Lisa Porter Loftus' career began as a sales representative. Her experience includes positions with several homebuilders and selling all types of homes, which gives her insight into homebuyers' needs. Prior to forming Reserve One, she served as senior vice president of sales and marketing, managing martner and board member for a major national builder. She was responsible for all sales revenue, including supervising the sales team, developing marketing activities and assisting in product development. While overseeing the sales and delivery of more than 800 homes annually, she also participated in long- and short-term corporate planning. Lisa was also active in several professional associations, including serving as executive board member, secretary and treasurer of the Sales and Marketing Council of the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago.

Tom Loftus has participated in nationwide homebuilding for more than 40 years, with an emphasis on the Chicago-area market. His career began with a giant national builder. After many years, and many key functions in several markets, Tom chose to concentrate on high-quality, mid-range, single-family homes in his native Chicago area. Twenty-nine years ago, he joined a mid-sized Chicago company as president and partner. Prior to forming Reserve One Homes, Tom was directly involved in building approximately 400 homes per year. Tom's strong skill in working closely with suppliers and contractors led to an industry-wide reputation for maximizing efficiency, a strong buyer benefit. His presidency of the Residential Construction Employers Council further underscores his commitment to a close, mutually beneficial association between the builder community and its many suppliers and union contractors.

Reserve One has built homes in the Grayslake community of the Preserves, in the Crystal Lake communities of Woods of Wyndmuir, Wyndmuir Ridge, Walkup at the Park, and Terra Fields, single-family and townhomes at Running Brook Farm, in Johnsburg, as well as homes in Fox Lake at Vern's Landing and Duck-Lake Crossing, and The Carriage Homes of Fox Ridge.
