04/29/05 - Pre-construction Sales Begin
at Running Brook Farm
Reserve One Homes has begun pre-construction sales at its newest
townhome community, Running Brook Farm in Johnsburg. The first phase
of 72 homes is now available.
Across the street from the Fox River in McHenry County, the 144-townhome
community features four elegant floor plans ranging from 1,088 to
1,464 square feet. Prices range from $168,990 to $191,990. Homes
have two to three bedrooms, 1 ½ to 2 ½ baths, full
basement and attached garages.
Three of the four plans have a two-car garage, while one includes
a one-car garage. Four-unit buildings offer added privacy and feature
three two-story plans and one ranch plan per building. To enhance
the basement space even further, buyers also have the option to
have it finished before they even move in.
A limited number of sites include the option for a lookout (English)
basement with a deck that opens from the main level with stairs
to the backyard.
"Most other townhomes in the area don't include a basement
or many of the other amenities we include," said Lisa Porter-Loftus,
partner of Reserve One Homes. "By having the basement finished,
buyers can enjoy a rec room, home office space or exercise area
right away."
Another bonus for Running Brook Farm buyers are all the features
included with each new townhome. Kitchen appliances, including a
refrigerator, ceramic tile in the foyer and baths, volume ceilings
in the master bedroom and nine-foot first-floor ceilings are all
part of the home's base price.
Options include bay windows, loft or second master suite, finished
basement and a fireplace.
All homes also include wall-to-wall carpeting, decorator light fixtures,
nine-foot first floor ceilings and custom-finished hardwood cabinets
and double-bowl stainless steel sinks in the kitchen. Bathrooms
also have wood vanities, cultured marble vanity tops, and mirrors.
Exterior features include maintenance-free vinyl windows, vinyl
siding, cultured stone accents, and patio doors and privacy fencing
between rear of units. Fully landscaped grounds add to the ambiance.
Single-family homes will soon be available at Running Brook Farm.
Prices will range from the mid-$200,000s to the mid-$300,000s.
Children will attend Johnsburg School District #12.
Johnsburg offers forty acres of park land, including two major park
facilities with ball fields, soccer fields, walking paths, picnic
