07/27/05 - Single-Family Homes Available
at Running Brook Farm
Pre-construction sales have opened at Running Brook Farm, a Reserve
One Home's community in northwest suburban Johnsburg. Across the
street from the Fox River in McHenry County, the 108 single-family
home neighborhood features home sites ranging from ¼ acre
to 2/3 of an acre.
Eight home designs will range from 2,084 to 3,450 square feet with
three to six bedrooms and 2 ½ to 3 ½ baths. Prices
range from $252,990 to $314,990. Special summer promotions, such
as free air conditioning or free options, are also available for
a limited time to buyers who act soon.
"The floor plans we're offering at Running Brook Farm have
been very popular in our Crystal Lake and Fox Lake communities,"
said Lisa Porter-Loftus, partner of Reserve One Homes. "The
combination of great home designs combined with a small-town feel
that's still close to modern conveniences and recreational amenities
means we expect these homes to go quickly."
Standard features on all single-family homes at Running Brook Farm
include furniture-quality kitchen cabinets, basements, and Frigidaire
ranges and dishwashers. The Classic Homes series include nine-foot
ceilings on the first floor, two-story foyers, two-story family
rooms, vaulted ceilings, oversized tubs and showers, ceramic or
wood foyers, ceramic floor and wall baths.
Options include whirlpool tubs, hardwood flooring, pine or oak interior
trim and doors, walkout basements and upgraded appliances.
Pre-construction pricing is also still available for Running Brook
Farm townhomes, where models are expected to open in August. Four
elegant floor plans range from 1,088 to 1,464 square feet. Prices
range from $168,990 to $191,990. Homes have two to three bedrooms,
1 ½ to 2 ½ baths, full basements and attached one
or two-car garages.
Three of the four plans have a two-car garage, while one includes
a one-car garage. Four-unit buildings offer added privacy and feature
three two-story plans and one ranch plan per building. To enhance
the basement space even further, buyers also have the option to
have it finished before they even move in.
"Most other townhomes in the area don't include a basement
or many of the other amenities we include," added Porter-Loftus,
partner of Reserve One Homes. "By having the basement finished,
buyers can enjoy a rec room, home office space or exercise area
right away."
Running Brook Farm children will attend Johnsburg School District
