08/01/05 - Duck-Lake Crossing Reaches Halfway Mark
More than half the homes at Duck-Lake Crossing, a Reserve One Homes community in Fox Lake, are now sold. Nestled among trees for a private, quiet feeling, the community will include only 36 single-family homes on home sites ranging from one-quarter of an acre to more than 2 ½ acres. Base prices range from $238,990 to $332,900.

One furnished model, the Fairchild, is featured at Duck-Lake Crossing. The 3,352 square-foot home recently received exterior, kitchen and master bedroom and bath awards at the Lake County Tour of Homes, sponsored by the Lake County Home Builders Association.

The Fairchild features four bedrooms, 2 ½ baths, basement and attached three-car garage. A two-story family room, large den or optional sunroom and gourmet kitchen with breakfast room are just some of this home's sensational features. Popular options include an upstairs media room/family room or fifth bedroom suite, as well as a first floor guest room and bath. The home is base-priced from $297,990.

Pre-construction pricing is still available for a limited time.

Eight home designs will range from 2,084 to 3,450 square feet with three to six bedrooms and 2 ½ to 3 ½ baths. Prices range from $252,990 to $314,990. Special summer promotions, such as free air conditioning or free options, are also available for a limited time to buyers who act soon.

Children will attend Johnsburg School District #12.

Vern's Landing in Fox Lake is a third single-family home community offered by Reserve One Homes. Only 34 home sites are offered in this private alcove of homes, which features large home sites ranging from one-third to one acre.

Duck Lake Crossing is near the intersection of Route 12 and North Route 59 in Fox Lake. From Route 12, take the North Route 59 exit and turn right on the Frontage Road to Chris Larkin Road.
