08/01/05 - Reserve One Townhomes Feature Basements and Garages
Home buyers are finding value and quality at Reserve One Homes' townhome communities in the northwest suburbs. Model sale and closeout continues at the Carriage Homes of Fox Ridge in Fox Lake, while pre-construction sales are winding down at Running Brook Farm in Johnsburg.

Only five townhomes, including four decorated models, remain for sale at the Carriage Homes of Fox Ridge.

Prices for the models range from $161,128 to $207,467. The four floor plans range from 1,025 to 1,230 square feet with two to three bedrooms and one to 1 ½ baths. Three of the four include 600 square-foot basements and all feature attached garages.

The Ashton model features three bedrooms plus a finished basement and is priced at $188,000. Also available is the Devonshire model, which recently received the best interior and best exterior awards at the Lake County Tour of Homes, sponsored by the Lake County Home Builders Association.

Another home available is the Charleston, priced at $172,184. The 1,230 square-foot home features two bedrooms plus a loft, 1 ½ baths, as well as a 600-square-foot basement. The home features an open floor plan, upgraded cabinets and upgraded flooring including 12 x 12 ceramic kitchen tiles.

The four decorated models include such options as an alarm system, intercom system, 42 inch cabinets in the kitchen, upgraded refrigerator with a water line, and upgraded carpet padding.

All homes include kitchen appliances, ceramic tile in the foyer and baths, cathedral ceilings in the master bedroom and central air conditioning. Home buyers also appreciate the extra comfort, safety and storage of each home's attached garage.

The community is in the Big Hollow School District 38 and Grant Community High School District 124.
Buyers can still take advantage of pre-construction pricing at Running Brook Farm before the models open. Across the street from the Fox River in McHenry County, the community offers 144 townhomes. Four elegant floor plans range from 1,088 to 1,464 square feet, with prices from $168,990 to $191,990. Homes have two to three bedrooms, 1 ½ to 2 ½ baths, full basement and attached garages.

Three of the four plans have two-car garages, while one includes a one-car garage. Four-unit buildings offer added privacy and feature three two-story plans and one ranch plan per building. To enhance the basement space even further, buyers also have the option to have it finished before they even move in.

Some sites include the option for a lookout (English) basement with a deck that opens from the main level with stairs to the backyard.

"Most townhomes in the area don't include a basement or many of the other amenities we include," said Lisa Porter-Loftus, partner of Reserve One Homes. "By having the basement finished, buyers can enjoy a rec room, home office space or exercise area right away."

Another bonus for Running Brook Farm buyers are all the features included with each new townhome. Kitchen appliances, including a refrigerator, ceramic tile in the foyer and baths, volume ceilings in the master bedroom and nine-foot first-floor ceilings are all part of the home's base price.
Options include bay windows, loft or second master suite, finished basement and a fireplace.

Children will attend Johnsburg School District #12.
